Baptiste Leurent
Lecturer
Baptiste Leurent joined the Statistics department at UCL in 2022. He is a medical statistician with a particular interest in the design and analysis of clinical trials.
He is interested in statistical methods for the analysis of health economics data, and in improving the collaboration between biostatisticians and health economists. He has worked substantially on the topic of missing data and the use of multiple imputation. His PhD was on sensitivity analysis for missing data under ‘Not-At-Random’ assumptions. He has a broader interest in improving and disseminating statistical methods for cost-effectiveness data, particularly in the context of clinical trials. He is part of the Biostatistics Group in the UCL/UCLH Joint Research Office, and work closely with the Health Economics Analysis and Research Methods Team (HEART) at UCL.
